These are a pair of vintage Fitz and Floyd ceramic candlestick holders featuring herons or cranes perched on bamboo stalks.
Crafted from hand-painted ivory ceramic, these pieces were made in Japan in the late 1970s.
While they can be used as decorative sculptures, their primary function is as candlestick holders, with openings at the top of the bamboo stalks for candles.
These are vintage items. One small chip on the beak of one of the birds as pictured.
Holders measure 6" H x 3.5" L x 3" W.
