This original painting was done prior to 1946 and depicts the old bridge over the main and the cathedral of Kaiserdam St. Bartholomaus. The bridge in the painting was destroyed by the allies during WW2 and rebuild in 1946. This is an original by Ernest Geossendorfer (1908-1993) Rothenburg, Germany.
It does have a small tear in the velvet framework and the original paper back is torn but still has original label.
