"Death-Web!" is by Gerry Conway and Ernie Chan, as Batman ruins a million dollar drug transaction but gets injured in an explosion that killed one of the Gangsters as Police arrive! Batman tracks the 2nd Gangster who almost overwhelms him from being hurt but the criminal is shot dead as Batman meets a new Vigilante who calls himself The Black Spider!! After a brief fight, Black Spider gets the upper hand and tells the Dark Knight that he only followed his example, but with more definitive results! Batman soon passes out and wakes in Jim Gordon's office at the GCPD, who informs him that they found him next to the weapon used in Sugarman's murder!
